What I've learnt from 3 years of Be Diddy...

1. A year can change EVERYTHING. But change is good.

2. Adapt and evolve...

If somethings not working change it, that's the beauty of doing your own thing. If it's not serving you let it go

3. Celebrate every win...

A collection does amazingly, crack that wine. You get mentioned in your fave publication (VOGUE, I'm looking at you), scream it from the rooftops. When you do everything yourself you are so in the thick of it, take a step back and look at all you have achieved.

4. Comparison is the thief of joy...

There is room for everyone, if you are in your own lane you are always the winner!

5. Ask for help... (I'm bad at this!)

People love to help and often feel happier after conducting acts of kindness. Win, win.

6. It's not always good...

I really try to show the highs and the lows (although a lot of people tell you not to.) I never want to make out that it's all 24/7 girl bossing. It's not and that's not realistic.

7. Set boundaries...

I am such a person pleaser and in the past have said yes to things I didn't want to do. I have really tried my best this year to set boundaries and only truly do things I want to/have the capacity for.

8. Done is better than perfect...
I used to spend HOURS, deliberating over posts, topics, captions. It's so stupid!! Post it, see what happens, try new styles you never know what's going to work out.

9. Be nice...
My first ever Instagram post said, "Be Diddy is a kids vintage/lifestyle store where everyone is welcome." Looking back I'm happy with that and think that's the core of the brand. Be Diddy is a proper little crew and anyone can get involved. I still absolutely stand by this.

10. And as they say, 3 is the magic number...

Thanks for being here, I think you're great!

Kayleigh :)
