If I had a pound for every-time someone asked me my Manchester recco's with kids, I'd be a millionaire! But alas, I don't so here it is for free. It's a mixture of kid friendly things that the adults will enjoy too. Featuring eats, creative spots, and plenty of outdoor fun!
1. Siop Shop
Location: 53 Tib St, Manchester M4 1NB
Kickstart your adventure at Siop Shop! The BEST place to fuel up with tasty donuts and beaut coffee. The kids will love all the bright colours and you can take in the good vibes whilst setting you up for the day.
2. Mayfield Park and Escape to Freight Island
Location: Baring St, Manchester M1 2PZ
Next stop, Mayfield Park! Let the kids run off some sugar in this fantastic green space, which is bang in the centre of town. When everyone’s ready for a break, pop over to Escape to Freight Island right next door. Treat yourself to a marg, you deserve it.
3. Fred Aldous
Location: 37 Lever St, Manchester M1 1LW
Head back over to Fred Aldous! This legendary art and craft store is brimming with supplies to inspire budding artists. Don’t miss the vintage photo booth – a gorge souvenir of your trip to Manc.
4. Stevenson Square
Location: Stevenson Square, Northern Quarter, Manchester M1 1DN
Wander out onto Stevenson Square, a pedestrian paradise! Safe and car-free, it’s perfect for a family stroll. The kids will be amazed by the vibrant street art, and you might even stumble on the monthly street market.
5. Afflecks Palace

A spot of shopping? Afflecks Palace is a treasure trove of unique finds and eclectic stalls. The kids will love exploring the nooks and crannies, and you’ll find everything from vintage clothes to quirky toys. Such a Manchester landmark!
6. Nell's Pizza

Wind down your day with a visit to Nell's Pizza. These New York-style pizzas are big enough to share and absolutely delicious. The relaxed, family-friendly vibe makes it the perfect penultimate stop.
7. Lazy Sundae

Finish your day at Lazy Sundae! Our fave ice cream parlour serves up the most delicious flavours with fun toppings.
